During a Cisco Networking Academy course in Egypt, the student was able to proficiently explain Ethernet concepts, build a simple Ethernet network using routers and switches, and use Cisco CLI commands to perform basic router and switch configurations. The student also understood and described devices, services, protocol layers, addressing, and naming schemes used in data networks and was able to design, calculate, and apply subnet masks and addresses in IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
