Christ's resurrection from the dead proves that the foundations of Scripture, faith, hope, and life after death are solid. It establishes Scripture as truth, shows that faith in Christ is worthwhile and not in vain, gives hope of resurrection for believers, and proves that decay of the physical body does not mean the end as there is eternal life after death. The resurrection of Christ therefore serves as a firm foundation for building one's life.

Christs Resurrection proves that the Scripture is solid (vv.3-4) 3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
Christs Resurrection proves that our faith system is solid(vv.17-19) 17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.

Christs Resurrection proves that even our death ( decay ) is on solid ground 35 But someone will say, How are the dead raised? And with what kind of body do they come? 36 You fool! That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies;
16 Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. 17 For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18 while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 1 For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
