In period before 2019 in Vietnam Market were 4 types of
fatty alcohol: Cetyl alcohol (C16), Cetyl Stearyl alcohol (3:7)
and (5:5), Stearyl alcohol.

applications like lubrication for mechanical parts.

creams, face washes, and lotions.
? It is commonly used as opacifier, emulsifier, and thickening agent that
alters the thickness of the liquid and increases and stabilizes the
foaming capacity due to its water-binding property.
? Cetyl stearyl alcohol is also commonly used as an emollient that
