A hybrid variety of goat was developed by crossbreeding indigenous breeds with exotic breeds to get higher milk production along with better body size and conformation. The hybrid variety exhibited enhanced milk production over the indigenous breeds, with average daily milk yield of 1.5 liters compared to 1 liter for indigenous breeds.
