Health & Wellness Highlights - 2010 Health Fair & Breast Cancer Symposium Challenge: African Americans have a higher incidence of Breast Cancer, Diabetes, Heart Disease and High blood Pressure Goals  Increase Awareness of Breast Cancer affecting African American Males & Females Improve Health Outcomes of African American Women who are usually the sole caretakers of African American Children Accomplishments;  Over 400 in Attendance Performed over 30 on-site mammograms Conducted on site Diabetes, Hypertension & Cholesterol Testing

RVs will include state of the art electronic equipment and learning labs for Mentoring Programs Education Raise $200K for Scholarships  Male African American Teachers that agree to teach 3 rd  grade  6 th  students in inner city or disadvantaged schools Students to attend team building, summer programs and college programs Focus on Math & Science College Promise

SCE Goals & Objectives Education Edison views 21st century workforce preparation as a key business imperative. A strong, vibrant educational system is essential to community life and helps ensure that Southern California students graduate with the academic and technical skills necessary to succeed in a competitive job market. Many of Edison's educational initiatives focus on increasing math, science and technology-literacy skills.
