Panasonic is transforming its business model from B2C to B2B and utilizing its land assets to create smart cities. As an example, Panasonic is working with 12 companies to develop the Fujisawa SST smart city project in Japan. This will implement smart, storage, saving, and intelligent devices. Panasonic is also forming new partnerships and business models around data center solutions, energy storage, smart grids, and power banks to provide energy and networking solutions for smart cities.
