John T. Unger is taken to a secret party at the Rocky Mountains hosted by Percy Washington. There they discover Percy's father owns a diamond as large as the Ritz hotel that they must keep hidden at all costs. As the authorities close in, there is an air strike, escape under cover of night, and attempt to bribe God. This leads to a giant explosion. The three survivors - John, Percy and Kismine - make plans to live in Hades and keep the diamond's existence a secret.
