The document provides information about K12's holiday hours and time off in December 2012 and January 2013. It states that the K12 offices will be closed from December 25-28, 2012 and January 1, 2013 and contractors are not required to work during those times. It provides instructions for contractors to submit timecards for the relevant pay periods and notes that final grades can be submitted upon returning from the holidays.

4. Special Notes
Grading: Although many of your students will
probably be taking time off as well, you may have
some who are working over the holidays. Please
be ready to spend some time grading when you
return.
Final grades on 12/24 and 12/31: These are not
K12 holidays, so FTE employees will be entering
final grades as needed. Contractors may enter
final grades from 12/24 end dates when they
return on 12/31.
Course message: Stay tuned for information
about a standard message to post in your
courses.

6. Escalation Process
Please see the revised Escalation Process
notes. Im also attaching the Action Plan
Matrix (not revised).
7. Need help?
The K12 Service Desk is equipped to handle a
good volume of phone calls for our employees.
They have found resolution times to be much
faster via phone (855-K12-HELP) than by email,
due to the reduction in the amount of back and
forth needed via phone compared to an email
ticket.
Therefore, we strongly encourage employees to
call Service Desk instead of emailing. This
number is not for students or mentors!
