The National Award is an annual competition festival, reflecting modern achievements in the field of landscape architecture, construction and planning in Russia.
The National Award is the highest professional award of national importance, established by the most important Russian non-governmental organizations in the field of Landscape Architecture.
THE NATIONAL AWARD IS DESIGNED TO DEMONSTRATE RUSSIAN ACHIEVEMENTS IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN, TO ATTRACT ATTENTION OF GENERAL PUBLIC TO THE PROFESSION OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE. IT ALSO GIVES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR COMMUNICATION AND EXCHANGE OF EXPERIENCE BETWEEN SPECIALISTS FROM DIFFERENT CITIES AND REGIONS OF RUSSIA.
Thanks to National Award Russian landscape architects have got a chance to receive not only nationwide recognition but also to participate in worldwide professional events.
The Russian National Award in Landscape Architecture always widely covered by mass media and is accompanied by a press conference with participation of government officials.
The National Award includes a student competition of art installations. Since 2013 the Youth Landscape Forum is an essential part of The National Award.
Projects of young participants of the contest are judged by International Jury consisting of worldwide recognized high level experts.
The National Award is not only competitive and exhibition space, but it is also the opportunity to get acquainted with professional community and to present the results of your work to representatives of Governments of cities and regions of Russia. More than 100 participants, as well as hundreds of visitors as follows: Leaders and representatives of relevant structures of Administrations of cities and regions of the Russia Managers of large construction and development companies Managers of architectural and landscape firms Landscape architects working solo Business executives of landscape industry Experts in the field of landscape architecture, urban planning, landscaping, natural resources and environmental protection and etc.
The National Award today means: Qualitative and aesthetic improvement of the environment in cities and other settlements of Russia; Public recognition of the best professional achievements of landscape architects and professionals in the landscape industry; Promotion of advanced technologies, equipment, materials and components used in landscaping and gardening; Stimulating creative processes and initiating of new projects and objects of modern landscape architecture and design; Increasing the prestige of the profession of landscape architect in our society.
