Values
Objectives:
? Identify and explain important interpersonal values of the
Filipinos
? Analyze the role of interpersonal relation values to
Philippine culture
? Incorporate desirable Philippine values to student¡¯s
everyday lives
Values
? standards used in the making of a decision. They
can be classified as aims or goals toward
something that an individual strives for.
Filipino Values
? refers to the set of values or the value system that
a majority of the Filipino have historically held
important in their lives. This Philippine value
system includes their own unique assemblage of
consistent ideologies, moral codes, ethical
practices, etiquette, and cultural and personal
values that are promoted by their society.
Group Activity
Divide the class into three groups. Each group will be
given part of the lesson that they will report as they
answer and do the following:
1. What are the different Filipino values related to
interpersonal relations?
2. How can you incorporate desirable values in your daily
lives?
3. Give or show example/s.
