Moon's molars is a syphilitic lesion that commonly affects the first molar tooth, causing the cusps to take on an exaggerated rounded or nodular shape. The affected teeth become narrower from side to side and lose the angled edge of the biting surface, resulting in cusps that appear more square-shaped compared to normal teeth.
