What is 1RTW?

We as 1Malaysia, the Malaysian Youth Pilot Association
(MYPA) and Majilis Belia Felda Malaysia (MBFM) along
with collaborative partners of IM4U are proud to present a
young Malaysian who has been awarded “The Youngest
Malaysian to Fly a Single Engine Piston Aircraft in an
Expedition” by the Malaysian Book of Records in 2012, Tan
James Anthony (Captain James Tan). In addition to the above,
we would like to improve on this achievement and have the
“The Youngest Pilot in Malaysia and South East Asia To Have
Flown Around the World” simply to inspire others with the
true spirit of ‘Muhibbah’ (unity).

• Malaysian Youth Pilot Association (MYPA) was established on 28th
December 2009 at Asia Pacific Flight Training (APFT) under Ministry
of Youth and Sport. The aim is to channel professionalism status in
further developing our aviation industry in Malaysia
• MYPA is association comprised of more then 200 youth pilots across
the country. This program is very important, because this is a program
that could encourage youth to explore Asia and the world in the near
future.
• MYPA can par with other pilots all around the world that often explore
the world and making world records in The World Book of Records.
This program will be the first point of the pilot youth to organize more
beneficial to the youth of Malaysia.

• YOUTH COUNCIL OF MALAYSIA FELDA (MBFM) was established with the official and
registered on 7 August 1991 with a membership of 59.836 people. First-time General
Meeting was held on October 9, 1991 at FELDA Land Development Institute (INPUT) is
executed by the Honourable Mr. Yassin Kamari, Deputy Minister of National and Rural
Development of Malaysia.
• MBFM was established with the goal of becoming a co-ordinating body Felda youth
organizations in Malaysia. YOUTH COUNCIL establishment of FELDA MALAYSIA also
consistent with the government's desire to see the second generation Felda proactively
face the challenges of globalization.
• MBFM strongly committed to the plan mentioned above and therefore we will
continually strive to improve our capability in this field of endeavor. By leveraging the
confidence high and being governed by those who are knowledgeable and highly skilled
will certainly make Felda Malaysia Youth Council a youth organization that is able to
compete with other youth organizations available.

• 1M4U are a non-profit organisation that helps to nurture and cultivate
volunteerism amongst Malaysian Youth. 1M4U’s focus is to instil this
attribute and together help all needy causes. 1M4U’s mission is to instil
the sense of social responsibility in Malaysian Youth. The youth is the
future of the Country and it is imperative that we develop youth who
are socially conscious and are willing to lend a hand in volunteerism.
1M4U is the brainchild of our PM YAB Datuk Sri Najib Tun Razak and
its primary goal is to nurture Youth Volunteerism while also providing
small funds for Youth volunteer activities.

methods specific to his needs to excel as a dynamic individual

FACTS AT GLANCE
In a survey involving 518 people, social injustice (80%), better career
prospects (76%) and more attractive benefits (73%) were the top reasons
why these Malaysians preferred not to come back.
• Drafted by social group Wake Up Call Malaysia, many of the survey’s
respondents would return if the government were to shift from a racial
agenda to a needs-based one (76%).
• Seventy-four percent of the people surveyed also said that they would
come back if they saw evidence of “fundamental and positive change”
in the government.
• Other factors also highlighted included a positive business
environment (57%) and a greater investment in public
education(54%).
• More than 1,174 pilots are unemployed as to date.
