Microsoft Access is a relational database program that allows users to create and manage databases through a graphical user interface. It can store up to 2GB of data across multiple tables, support up to 200,000 records per table, and be used by 5-7 concurrent users. Access uses a three-tier architecture model consisting of an input process, database, and output process to manage data input, queries, outputs, and a user interface.
