God knows what is best for us even when we don't understand. While we want happiness, suffering and sorrow help us grow stronger and better prepared for tomorrow. God does not cause us pain needlessly, and every loss is followed by rich gain. When counting our blessings, we have no reason to complain as our loving Father sees clearly what our souls need.
