Call to action: 80% of the participants said they knew when there was Collect content for them capture 73% , however, said they would like to see more information on the signs particularly the name of the animal Mobile application: 25% of the participants had no difficulty at all using BBC Collect The remaining participants mentioned one or other feature they had difficulty with in the beginning, usually phone functionality. Web application: 82% of the participants found as very easy and straightforward to use Complaints registered by some of the participants was the short time the website was available for and that content sharing wasnt allowed .
New and exciting way of learning I like being able to expand on the information given on the info card at the zoo itself. I could see the animals more closely, and had more information at my fingertips. You get more information about the animals than you would just walking around looking at the animals, and it was more interesting than reading about them. A giraffes kick can actually kill a lion. That komodo dragons saliva is toxic enough to kill as its full of sick bacteria. A large box jellyfish carries enough venom to kill 60 people.

Participants found enjoyment in different ways In the Zoo At home The whole collect experience Additional information Watching clips and listening to audio Hunting and collecting barcodes Using technology Interest in the technology (Internet) Ownership and pride Extending the zoo visit I enjoyed using Collect because its not every day you see your work and name on the Internet my visit to the zoo was better because it was more exciting and adventurous Additional content A new way of learning Because it was really educational but in a really fun way as it was like an adventure. I also like the fact it was in the zoo that made it really fun
When you go home you have the zoo in your pocket
