1. To Whom It May Concern:
Leadership, strategic planning, Q-1, QS-9000, JIT, ISO 14001, Lean manufacturing, 5-S,
supervisory, welding and well seasoned quality engineering are inherent traits that are fine-tuned
through hands-on experience. For the past thirty-three years, I have been using my learned skills
and abilities to help ensure all production and quality needs were maintained above or beyond
requirements.
At CAT, I worked on research and development of the CR400 fuel injector and Warranty on the
CR350 and CR1100 Injector. I also handled all RMA’s dealing with the CR1100 fuel injectors. I
was accountable for contributing to the identification, analysis and resolution of Quality needs and
problems. I performed complex Quality analysis work, identify and resolved problems in a
minimum amount of time. Prior to this I worked on first time pass failure analysis.
At Lextron-Visteon/GCM I was Visteon's Incoming Supplier Quality Engineer/Supervisor. I set up
sorts, distributed personnel as needed, collected, analyzed, and communicated information
related to our quality findings. I covered the quality of the Cockpits, Front and Rear Consoles and
Front End Modules and handled Warranty issues. Prior to this I was the 2nd/3rd Shift
Manufacturing Leader in charge of overall plant operations and personnel in Vicksburg
Mississippi. I was responsible to lead all colleagues in the area of safety, quality and productivity.
This role is responsible to ensure accountability and discipline within the manufacturing
environment, maintain and exceed compliance with all internal and OSHA required safety
procedures, QS9000 procedures, continuous improvement activities, and cultivating a team
environment.
At Tower automotive, I worked the positions of Supervisor, Weld inspector, Quality inspector and
Field Engineer. I volunteered to be the quality engineering field representative at the Ford Atlanta,
Georgia assembly plant during the spring of 1997 to validate the quality of all engine cradle
welds. In 2002, I volunteered to be the quality engineering field representative at the Tower
Automotive Corydon, Indiana plan to validate the quality of all Tower Automotive Granite City,
Illinois metal stamping.
I have been involved in over a dozen new automotive launches. I have experience with
Caterpillar, GM, Ford, Dodge, and Nissan.
My diverse business and seasoned Quality management experience has helped me develop
strong skills in verbal presentations, meeting production needs, financial management, employee
relations, data analysis, warehouse management, JIT and overtime needs. As with all successful
business management personnel, I can analyze and determine the needs of the department I am
in charge of. I also have Six Sigma Green Belt.
