#32: BIM ^education ̄ is presently largely done by software vendors. This is inadequate because it overlooks important topics like interoperability, designing workflows for different types of projects. It also usually doesn¨t address firm managers who make decisions about software and hardware procurement and implementation.
#33: Type and depth of BIM knowledge needed depends on whether someone is doing modeling every day, managing a project, interacting with clients or consultants, or making management decisions for the firm. It also depends on the level of the individual¨s interest in BIM and technology in general.Orgs: AGC, ASHRAE, NIST, CSI, etc. Negotiate mutual acceptance of each others¨ courses.
