Al Jones began his career in event planning and design as a teenager, apprenticing under a catering director. Over the past decade, he has gained experience in various fields including theatre, performance art, retail, and full-service food and beverage. As an independent private event specialist based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Al Jones is known for his nonchalant approach and ability to design legendary events on a dime. Currently, he is focusing on wine training and mastering luxury wedding design to ensure each custom event he plans remains memorable for clients' guests.

- 20. A native North Carolinian who spent his childhood at the heels of his mother, and apron of his grandmother, Al Jones began his artistic career in the middle of his parents Dining Room floor. The prot辿g辿 of Susan Colomaio, Catering Director of East Carolina University who hired him at the age of 16 as a Catering Server/Design Apprentice since then has only heightened his passion for Platinum Design over a decade later. Hoisting a diverse medium in Theatre Stage Management and Design, Performance Art with a niche for Opera, Retail Style Coaching, Full Service Food and Beverage; not to forget classic Event Management he counts each endeavor as a golden gift of opportunity. Known for his nonchalant approach and resourceful on the dime design, Al Jones ensures every event is legendary. From Corporate Events, to Greek Life Luncheons; Wedding Rehearsals, to Dessert Socialsits all been done. A Raleigh based independent Private Event Specialist and Marriott-Joy Wedding Planner Certified he details every inch of your event: from customized menus to floral decorations, musical entertainment and so much more. His current focus for Fall 2011 is Sommelier Wine Training, and mastering the art of Luxury Wedding Design. Al Jones directly collaborates with leading local and abroad partners to ensure your custom event will remain in the hearts of your guests for a Lifetime.
