Models of laboratory and industrial processes of ammonia oxidation and hydrocyanic acid synthesis are created. Some new approaches for description of chemical processes are proposed. It is shown that industrial data have even more information about chemistry of processes than laboratory data. New data about influence of Pt gauzes on the yield of product for both processes are established and durable action of impurity of natural gas on the yield of HCN are revealed. Optimization criteria are chosen and contribution of each parameter in influence on prime cost are estimated.
