The 3 Irish Open 2010
3 Irish Open Winner : Ross Fisher
The Players View"The Irish Open is very much viewed as great craic, the Guinness, the atmosphere in town, everyone in good humour, the Irish sense of humour theyre the lines along which it has been sold to the players and obviously great venues as well.油"Even though weve had great venues the last few years, youve never had an epicentre, a town close by thats been buzzing because the Irish Open was on. I think Killarney has brought that. Im not suggesting it should stay here forever but Id like to see it come back next year."We had great crowds, great atmosphere, the hotels are sensational, the views are magnificent and the weather was decent. It ticked a lot of boxes and the Irish Open has re-established itself as one of the premier events on Tour.Paul McGinleyVice Captain 2010 Ryder Cup
3 Irish Open 2010	The wow factor hits you forcefully and most impressively once you arrive at the gates of the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club. The tented village is to be found to the right of the driveway on portion of the Mahonys Point course and it looks absolutely magnificent.	However, its the location of the media centre that really takes your breath away. It is located within a little chip shot of the clubhouse to one side and majestic Lough Leane on the other and the views in yesterdays mixture of sunshine, dark and pale clouds were nothing short of majestic. I have frequented press tents at numerous venues in many parts of the golfing world and have seen nothing to match this or come anywhere close.	Charlie Mulqueen	The Irish Examiner
3 Irish Open 2010	I really hope that they decide to stay in Killarney for another couple of years. Killarney has come out on top. I think the crowds weve had, the venue, I think all of the players have loved it. Its been hugely positive.	Darren Clarke	Vice Captain Ryder Cup 2010	Besides the Majors, the WGC's and stuff like that, the BMW PGA at Wentworth, which is our biggest event, personally I look on tournaments like Ireland, Loch Lomond, Paris, these sort of tournaments as big, big tournaments.	It was a great location. Theres no set in stone we are coming back next year, but I really hope its here for many more years.	Ross Fisher Winner 3 Irish Open 2010
3 Irish Open 2010	On yet another day when the crowds flocked to the see the coronation of the latest Irish Open champion the final attendance of 25,673 brought the total crowd numbers to 81,738 over the four days Fisher, whod held the lead since his imperious 61 in Fridays second round, finished the job in both style and with grit as he claimed the 500,000 winners cheque and moved into an automatic Ryder Cup spot in the latest standings.	Philip Reid	The Irish Times	After five years in which Europe's finest were brutalised by horribly wet and cold weather in Ireland each May, the event's rescheduling to high summer in one of the nation's liveliest and most beautiful tourism hot spots was a roaring success.	To a man, the stars want to go back to the Kingdom next year, while Killarney Golf and Fishing Club and the town itself, delighted by a 30m boost to the local economy. Karl MacGinty,	The Irish Independent
