Further Education and Training in Rural Context
o Apprenticeship
o Current models of apprenticeship training provision do not align
well with rural delivery (in centre component)
o Consideration of digital delivery for some elements to reduce
time and costs to apprentices associated with in centre training
o Delivery of some apprenticeship in centre activity in rural
locations would contribute to local economy, and overcome
accommodation challenges experienced by apprentices
attending main, city located apprenticeship centres/campuses.
