The 500 Club rewards a student form with points each week based on lesson marks. Students receive 1 point for a mark of 5 and lose 1 point for marks of 1, 2 or 3. The form's score is tallied and posted weekly. Bonus points can be awarded by the form tutor. Rewards include sweets, certificates and mufti days for high scoring forms each term. The main aim is to work as a team to gain points and avoid losing them. Updates are posted weekly on Fronter.
2. The Rules: Each form starts the half term with 500 points.? For each '5' you are awarded in a lesson one point will be added to your forms score.? For each '1', '2' or '3' you are awarded in a lesson one point is deducted from your score.? At the end of each week, your scores will appear on a league table.
3. Bonus Points: Your Form Tutor can award up to 50 bonus points each week to your form. For example, if everyone gets a 5, and there are no negative marks for a day, they could give you an extra 10 points! The better you are at avoiding negative marks, the higher your bonus will be! Your Form Tutor needs to send your Year Co-ordinator your Bonus by 3.30pm each Friday so it can be added to your end of week score.
4. What you/your form ¡°win¡±: Each half term: Sweets and a certificate in assembly for your form! Each member of the form will also get a reward point - remember the pupil with the most reward points at the end of the year gets an i-pod! Each term: The class with the most points at the end of each term, will win a mufti day!
5. MAIN AIM: Work as a team ¨C remember this is a whole form effort. Encourage each other to avoid negative marks, and gain as many 5s as possible!
6. Team updates: Each week your Year Co-ordinators Mrs Dunne and Miss Cox will tally up your point score ¨C this can then be found on your Year 9 Fronter page.
