         Are you new to Bradley? Are you looking for a one-stop introduction to the Bradley campus
         and Peoria? If so, you are in the right place! Use the links below to help you find your way
         around the Bradley University campus and nearby areas of Peoria.

         Explore information and links in the On Campus section of this page as you navigate the
         campus. When you’re ready to venture out into the big wide world, check out the Exploring
         Peoria section. Getting around town or heading home for a visit will be easy with the links in
         the Transportation portion of this page. With a fully charged cell phone, or other mobile
         device, and this page loaded into its browser, you are ready to go!

         On Campus
         Bradley is a wireless campus. Using a laptop or browser-enabled mobile device, you are
         never more than a click away from the Internet.

                around campus.
                Your safety is important! In an emergency, call 911. The Campus Police non-emergency
                number is 677-2000.

                /emergencycontactonline] to receive emergency information via text message.
                Dorm food may not always hit the spot. Using the links below, you will find that the

         Ready to explore a bit of Peoria? Use a hand held device with Internet access while you are
         on the road. Here are a few ideas:

                 How about a trip to the Peoria Zoo? [http://www.peoriazoo.org/] Use the location finder in
                 your GPS or type in the address: 2218 N. Prospect Rd., Peoria, IL.
                 At The RiverFront [http://www.peoriariverfront.com/] you will find over 70 stores and
                 restaurants. Check out the Rhythm Kitchen Music Café, with live music every weekend.
                 The RiverFront Market is open every Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. from June to
                 September.
                 For a traditional mall-type shopping experience, take a trip out to The Shoppes at
                 Grand Prairie. [http://www.theshoppesatgrandprairie.com/]

         Transportation
         You know where you want to go, but now you need to know how to get there.

                 If you're driving, your GPS will need periodic updates. Before you leave campus, visit
                 the Garmin website [https://my.garmin.com/maps/checkPlugin_updates.htm?] and upload map
                 updates to your laptop and GPS.
                 Use this online map [http://www.springhillpressmaps.com/zoom/Maps/peoriail.html]to help you
                 find your way around Peoria. Bradley coordinates areX=3014, Y=6682.
                 For city bus schedules and routes visit the CityLink website. [http://www.ridecitylink.org/]
                 Buses run M-F: 6:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M., Sat: 8:00 A.M. - 5 P.M. Bradley University is
                 located on Route 5 (Main), and is two blocks from Route 1 (University).
                 With the Illinois River in Bradley's backyard, an excursion on The Spirit of Peoria
                 [http://www.spiritofpeoria.com/display.php] provides a nice change of pace for celebrations or
                 family visits.
                 Planning a trip home? The Peoria Charter Coach Company[http://www.peoriacharter.com
                 /champaign/index.htm] provides bus service from the Bradley campus: $33 one-way
                 between Peoria/Bradley and Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg. Students heading to
                 northeastern Illinois can take the 5:50 p.m. bus on Friday and arrive at Woodfield Mall
                 (by Firestone) at 9:30 p.m. For the return trip, the bus that leaves Woodfield at 2:50
                 p.m. on Sunday gets to Bradley at 6:40 p.m.
