ALL who are interested 09:30 Departure for Selcuk town. 10:30 12:30 Visit to the Historical Ephesus site. 12:30 13:30 Lunch in Sirince 14:00 The village of Sirince, free time 16:30 Return to Izmir DISCUSSED TOPICS and CONCLUSIONS 1. Introduction of the meeting programme and the social activity on 12th November 2013 2. Study visit : Konak Anatolian High School Fatih Project: http://fatihprojesi.meb.gov.tr/tr/english.php The national funded project is implemented in the school. Presentation of the project by school management and representatives. Question and answers about the advantages and disadvantages of using technological tools in classrooms. Short information about FATIH Project: Movement of Enhancing Opportunities and Improving Technology, known as FATIH, is among the most significant educational investments of Turkey. FATIH Project proposes that Smart Class project is put into practice in all schools around Turkey. With this project, 42.000 schools and 570.000 classes will be equipped with the latest information technologies and will be transformed into computerized classes (Smart Class). FATIH Project can be regarded as being composed of 5 different components and these components can be listed as: - Providing Equipment and Software Substructure - Providing Educational e-content and Management of e-content - Effective Usage of the ICT in Teaching Programs - In-service Training of the Teachers - Conscious, Reliable, Manageable and Measurable ICT Usage 3. How far the objectives stated in the application stage were met? Short informationabout the state of the project in each partner organization. A skype communication was held with Language School PELIKAN representativ. 5. New Educational Web 2.0 Tools to share with participants. Project partners already did several workshops in the previous meetings where web 2.0 tools related with education have been presented. Partners revised these tools and presented any new educational tools encountered recently. 6. Issues on the project, sharing challenges, addressing them, next steps/tasks. Konak staff Turkan Canbaz mentioned about the short questionnaire done with the staff of Konak District Governorship on the awareness and benefits of some web 2.0 tools (khanacademy, mindmap, dropbox, skype, facebook, twitter and linkedin). 7. Expectations and project outcomes so far. Suggestions to improve the catalogue of Web 2.0 Tools. 8. Next project meetings, Participation of learners in the next meetings and future collaboration among partners for the next call ERASMUS+. A discussion was made about the next project meetings in Brno and Athens. Konak stated that they wont be present in Brno meeting due to travel costs and time restriction of the staff. A project staff and 3-4 learners will be present in the last meeting in Athens. Partners also discussed opportunities for the next call of ERASMUS +, but as the guideline has not yet been announced they couldnt form out what will be the objectives and priorities for the next call. It was suggested to wait and see the call and later decide on further cooperation. 9. End of Day 1. 10. Dinner at Tavac脹 Recep Usta Restaurant, Atat端rk Caddesi No:364 Alsancak 聴zmir. 11. Day 2 Socal activity and visit to some cultural and historical places in the Region. - Visit to Sel巽uk, Historical site Ephesus and Virgin Marys House - Visit to a historical and traditional village Sirince The whole meeting schedule ran according to the proposed agenda.
