Sean-Cawood created levels for their game by drawing a 3D grid in ProCreate to help plan gameplay. They drew the map larger than 120x80 pixels to allow scrolling. Obstacles and cover were drawn and colored differently. Characters were drawn in multiple poses for animation. Lighting effects were added using color, blur, and selective non-functioning lights to set a spooky tone. The map was exported as a PSD and characters were animated in Photoshop before exporting as a large MP4 for zooming and panning in Premiere with added audio and slowed gameplay for immersion.
