140 youth aged 12-17 from various areas in and around Sacramento participated in a 2-day STEAM workshop hosted by Code for Hood. The workshop included coding, design thinking, robotics, and other technical skills. Code for Hood aims to launch a mobile classroom and continues to provide learning opportunities through events and their newsletter. They thank supporters and volunteers that help further their mission of youth STEAM education.
