Total Prison Population The United States have more people in prison than entire world. Chinas population is five times more than the US and only has 500,000 people in prison Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Oklahoma have more people in prison for life compared to other states
US Federal Prison Population Ramzi Yousef is serving a life sentence for masterminding the 1993 attack on the World Trade Center. Bernie Madoff is serving over a years in prison for his involvement in the worlds worst financial scheme in US History Ted Kaczysnki, better known as the Unabomber, is serving a life sentence for a mail bombing spree that lasted more than 20 years.
Police Misconduct The majority of the cases involving police corruption are concentrated in California, Arizona, Florida, Texas, and Michigan
Prison Population Perception of injustice in the US Criminal Justice System Racial Disparities Income Inequality Constitutional & Civil Rights Violations
