Scrooge has a change of heart and realizes the importance of generosity, especially during Christmas time, and vows to live his life differently going forward.

He worked in his office with Bill Cratchit, a younger man. One night 3 ghosts visited him on Christmas Eve. The first ghost showed him his life when he was younger. The second ghost showed him how did Bill Cratchit live in poverty. The third ghost showed him that if he would keep on with this misery he would die earlier. Then, Scrooge realized the importance of generosity, ideal in Christmas, and he was happy but not stingy anymore.
