A Remedy for Infant Dying of a Kind of Wasting Disease
This remedy is based on a Chinese book, “至於我和我家”:
http://www.familykeepers.org/publish/my%20family.htm
On November 15, 1948, a male infant was born in Tainan, Taiwan, with a 3rd degree split lib condition. Starting from
the 8th
day till 40th
day, he had surgery by the plastic surgeon to close the lib and the palate bone. The boy practically
lost his muscle mass. Adding to insufficient production of breast milk by the mother and not able to adapt to formula,
the boy developed severe dehydration (another name o f it is wasting disease). Every day no matter what he ate, he had
diarrhea 20 to 30 times. In day time, he was like a dead baby. In night time, he cried continuously.
The mother was a sincere Christian. She prayed to God to dedicate her life to cheerfully take care of this child.
Suddenly she felt a wonderful peace entered her heart.
Three days later, a missionary lady told her to feed the boy with tiny amount of beef juice, egg yolk, and banana for
three days before increasing the amount. So the increase was by a three-day increment. (No details about if they were
mixed into a paste or they were fed to the baby separately.)
With prayers and this diet, the boy turned from a dying skinny baby to a reddish plum baby.
