Hampir sebagian besar gedung bertingkat yang merupakan pusat keramaian seperti
Mall, Department Store dan Trade Center memiliki Escalator yang merupakan alat
transportasi pengunjung gedung untuk melakukan perjalanan pindah lantai, baik
menuju lantai yang lebih tinggi, maupun lantai yang lebih rendah. Escalator melayani
ribuan penumpang setiap hari dan penumpang itulah target dari STEPSADS.
