Assistant Retail Store Manager
My primary task in this role was to build a high performance team that delivered first-class customer service. I was
accountable for training employees on standard company procedures, and to effectively perform all job-related
responsibilities. I trained and mentored all new sales associates and maintained a positive atmosphere. I was also
required to manage all employee relations concerns.
Other primary responsibilities included:
 Designing and implementing displays for effective marketing
 Planning and conducting special events to increase sales
 Ordering and stocking merchandise
 Ensure compliance with current employment policies
 Following security policies to ensure merchandise was protected
 Inventory management to ensure store shipments were entered in the company database

productsand salon servicesin the United States. They focus on providing affordable indulgence to their customers

Senior Esthetician and Skin Therapist
This was a dual role, which encompassed responsibilities for both client consultations/appointments in the salon,
and also for retail sales. I was expected to exemplify proficiency in delivering a total guest experience including a
custom image consultation, technical execution of client services, guest home maintenance, education on products
and recommendations for future services.

 Created room set-up for clients
 Chose products based upon specific skin evaluations
 Classified and confirmed skin type, paying close attention to medical considerations, allergies, etc.
 Delivered full guest experience including custom consultations
 Functioned as a skilled make-up artist

Serving the suburbs forover 30 years, Michael ThomasSalon and Day Spa was the first salon and spa in
the area to bring downtown quality servicesto the suburbs. The emphasis on quality hasbeen the
cornerstone of their philosophy. Each member of their staff undergoes extensive training specific to
their specialty and they are challenged throughout the year by attending advanced training centersand
classes to afford their clients the newest styles, techniques and technology.
Skin Therapist and Esthetician
In this role I performed various cosmetic procedures including microdermabrasion, customized facials,
facials with chemical peels, non-surgical lift, Ultra scrubber/Ultra Sonic, herbal body scrubs and wraps,
full body waxing, make-up applications and hand treatments. I trained for and obtained an Esthetician
license and advanced certifications for this role.
