Phase 1– Original Plan • Create Open311 server • Open311 server queries existing bespoke Aberdeen City Council systems • Report issues via Open311 Reality stepped in
Phase 1– Plan B • Develop Open311 server using Sinatra • Populated server with – Schools data – Community Centres data – Car Park data • Expand beyond the Open311 Inquiry v1 specification

Involve Everyone • Let the people decide the problems they wanted solving • Excited to get what they want instead of given something they didn’t want • People who didn’t attend still speaking excitedly about the event and its impact
