About KRISHGEN KRISHGEN meets the needs of its pharmaceutical and clinical customers by providing a range of Research Use Only kits for researchers in drug development and pre-clinical studies, and in offering fully-optimized and validated products for ensuing preclinical and clinical studies. KRISHGEN’s recently released cytokine ELISA kits are an innovative cost effective tool for disease research, drug discovery & development, and molecular diagnostic test development. - 5. Our History To support it's plans, Krishgen initially focused on developing marketing and distribution support for diagnostics. 2004.. First Partner for distribution tied-up with Medipan GmbH / Generic Assays GmbH in Germany. 2005 .. the research and life sciences products were introduced with its arrangements with leading US & European companies. 2006 .. the Glycobiology line was introduced in October for distribution. 2007 .. the tools for preclinical toxicology were introduced in August. 2008 .. Promocell GmbH, Germany distribution started in India. Its own products under the KRISHGEN label were manufactured and introduced in October. Krishgen started offering immunoassay development services in Nov 2008. 2009 .. KRIBIOLISA bioprocess ELISA kits launched. 2010 .. KRISHILISA GMO ELISA kits and Gold Ring Cytokine ELISAs launched. 2011 .. International distribution efforts started. Our Sales Network We currently hold distribution rights for sales in South East Asia as well as in countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines for a number of our principal companies. Our focus the past few years has been in India which is our principal market and the major revenue earner. We reach the entire Indian region with our own employee based marketing field team supported by our product executives and application specialists. KRISHGEN also now has a network of distributors all across the world for its own manufactured / branded products. It also supplies on OEM labeling to leading US and Canadian based companies. Resources Library We have the largest resources library for marketing our products in terms of flyers, catalogs, brochures, technical series mails etc. Our in- house print shop has capacity to print and mail over 10,000 copies per month which we use in conjunction with our database. - 13. Markets and Achievements KRISHGEN today holds over 80% of the market for biopharmaceuticals with its glycosylation tools working with world’s leading companies. With our focus on costs and services, we are a `strategic vendor’ and ‘preferred partner’ to a number of leading biopharma and vaccine companies. We were the first movers to market exclusively Invitrogen’s primary human cell cultures and medias (erstwhile Cascade Biologics)in India from 2004 till 2008 when Invitrogen Corporation, USA set up it’s own subsidiary in India. We hold over 74% market share for the ADME Tox in India with our nearest competitor being BD Biosciences and Invitrogen. We are the market leaders in India for Vitamin D assays for medical diagnostics and for immunoassay tools for diabetes research and clinical studies.
