- 3. OIL AND GAS Norway has large oil and gas resources in the North Sea. These resources have made Norway one of the richest countries in the world.

- 13. SKIING IN RLINGEN We have lots of places for both cross-country and downhill skiing in our district There卒s even a small ski-jump nearby
- 14. STMARKA stmarka is a forest area located east of Oslo. There are two nature reserves in stmarka Our school has this area as its neighbour
- 15. NORTHERN YEREN Glomma runs into yeren. Northern yeren is a large nature reserve in R脱lingen and surrounding areas The nature reserve is the largest inland delta in Norway
- 16. MOTDAMMEN motdammen is a lake in the stmarka, just a few minutes from school. This is a popular area for fishing and outdoor activities, and there are many places for swimming around the lake. We have many school activities around the lake
- 17. SANDBEKKEN UNGDOMSSKOLE Sandbekken is one of the two middle schools in R脱lingen. There are 310 pupils aged 13-16 and a staff of 35.
- 18. Our school was built in 1975 and renovated in 2003, the school has a 25m pool and large sports hall, a sand volleyball pitch and a skating ramp
