Food Rescue

In partnership with the
Gwinnett Braves and
United Way, SWC
donated funds to
purchase a refridgerated
truck for Feed the
Hungry Forsyth.
The truck recsues
unused perishable foods
from restaurants,
caterers and grocers and
delivers it to local food
pantries.
Special Olympics

SWC volunteers support
young athletes with
special needs at Special
Olympics each spring.

 Live, work or have interests in Forsyth County
 Registered voter
 Be recommended for membership and sponsored by
a current member
 Attend New Member Orientation (August 15, 2013)
 Pay annual dues ($80)
 Attend at least 6 of 9 monthly meetings
Membership Requirements
 Serve in at least one Department
 Perform 10 service hours, including New Member
Project, by December 31, 2013
 Perform at least 30 service hours between January 1,
2014 and December 31, 2014
 Contribute to annual fundraiser by securing at least
one silent auction item, purchasing ticket and
attending event
