The document analyzes 22 MAEM theses completed at Father Saturnino Urios University over the last 10 years. On average, 2 theses were produced each school year. Most researchers studied students/pupils (36%) and public schools (64%). The most common research design was descriptive-correlation (41%) using researcher-made surveys and purposive sampling. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were used. Most researchers were female, aged 41-45 years old, employed in public institutions. Thesis topics fell under instruction (highest percentage), educational management, or both (lowest percentage). The analysis provides insight into MAEM research trends and could help identify future research areas.
