Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic multisystem autoimmune disorder characterized by the development of autoantibodies and immune complexes in association with a wide variety of clinical manifestations and tissue damage. Evaluation of disease activity is useful as a guide in therapy. Drugs used for SLE therapy is given based on the symptoms and severity of illness. This research target to describe the characteristic of SLE patients, disease characteristics, evaluate the accuracy of patient, accuracy of indication, accuracy of dosing, potential interactions, and side effects that may occur in the use of the drug in patients with SLE. This study was a non-experimental and descriptive study using purposive sampling techniques and data collection concurrently. The sample used in this study were patients who were diagnosed SLE by doctor, got therapy of SLE and were willing to be interviewed. Results of research conducted on 19 patients who met the inclusion criteria, the obtained results that SLE affected more women in the age group 26-35 years was as much as 42.11%, SLE disease activity more suffered severe and very severe respectively 31.58%, characteristics most comorbidities were allergic by 20%, accuracy of patients 84.21%, accuracy of indication 89.47%, accuracy of dosing 52.63%, the potential interaction 68.42%, and 100% of patients experience side effects of drugs.
