My Name Is Madeeha Saeed, I Made this app; "Abuse Prevention App" as my FYP; Final Year Project 2020, for my degree; Computer Science Engineering. Gist: Womens security is a critical issue in todays world and its very much needed for every individual to be acting over such an issue. Our App, Abuse Prevention App provides Realtime self-defense to the user by giving an option of Alerts, which uses in-built GPS & GSM of an android device and sends a distress message with a users current location to the 2 contacts selected by a user. Nowadays due to recently happened cases such as rape by drivers or colleagues, burglary, etc., women's security has been compromised.

Introduction Womens security is a critical issue in todays world and its very much needed for every individual to be acting over such an issue. We focuses on the proposed model that can be used to deal with the problem of security issue of women using GPS and GSM based tracking system.
Sexual Violence In Pakistan In Pakistan, from the last decade, the violence & abuse against women has been proliferated to and fro. Mostly working women are facing major threats about security and their personal space has been invaded. White Ribbon Pakistan, an NGO working for women's rights stated that: Over 4,734 women faced sexual violence between 2004 and 2019. Over 15,000 cases of honor crimes were registered. Over 5,500 kidnappings of women during this period.
Scope Admin Module: Add Personal Details Add Instructions View Registered Users Add Geo Map Via GPS/GSM User Module: Register (With Details like Username, Ph-Nos! (Emergency Contacts), and Email ID etc.) Sign Up Sign In View Instructions Add 2-3 Mobile Numbers Of Close Relatives/Family Members
Cont Awareness: Here user can learn self-defence techniques in short time. Send Immediate Distress Message Via App: SMS will be sent to chosen associates with your locality. User Profile: The option where user can view her username & registered emergency contacts, can edit/update it and can see other account details. Sign Out: Signs the user out of the system.
Project Objectives The project's objectives are as follows: To make an alert system for Women safety detection. To make a system which provides a realizable and efficient processing. To make an app where user should not have a need of external hardware or software to use this application.
Problem Statement There is no proper fully automated mobile application that is user-friendly. The process of sending alert to selected associates is either too slow or gives errors on different operating systems. No, user guide/awareness. Already built security alert systems for females are in lag due to buggy coding and imprecise algorithms.
