                                                   2013 Student Development Scholarship


The Academic Counselors Association (ACA) is proud to offer $200 scholarships to University of Texas at Austin students who
support the vision and values of the UT academic advising community. It is the hope of ACA that these scholarships will assist
students in their academic pursuits and endeavors.

Eligibility requirements: Candidates must be undergraduate students who assist in advising or other academic support services and
have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 (to be verified by the ACA Awards and Recognition Committee).

 statement, this signed cover sheet, and the additional documents outlined below in #4-5.
 1) In what way(s) do you assist students and/or support advising services on campus? Please expand on how your role fits in with the
 vision and values of ACA (http://www.utexas.edu/staff/aca/vision).
 2) How has your work supporting students impacted your experience at UT Austin?
 3) How will this scholarship assist you in pursuing your academic or professional goals? Please address any financial need you
 currently experience, if relevant.
 4) Please attach a resume or list of activities and accomplishments.
 5) Optional: Submit a letter of recommendation from a staff or faculty member who is familiar with your work assisting in advising
 or other student support services.

understand submission of false information is grounds for rejection of my application.
NOTE: The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), 20 U.S.C. &1232g, and its implementing regulations 34 CFR Part 99,
authorize the release of student educational records to other educational institutions in which you are enrolled or receive services.
The ACA Awards and Recognition Committee at The University of Texas at Austin are provided access to your educational records in
accordance with this provision.
