California law requires that college graduates
earn at least a 2.0 gpa before being awarded a
  diploma.
Academic probation is designed to serve as a
warning that a student's gpa is too low to
  graduate.
Those on probation will be subject to regulation
and supervision by administrators. (eg must
improve GPA by a certain date, must maintain a
  certain GPA, etc.)
Removal form the university, either due to an
extremely low GPA, or for not meeting the
 requirements of Academic probation.
Academic Probation & Disqualification
There are still a variety Telecommunications
of careers open to Equipment Installers
those who do not have Insurance Agent
    college degrees. These Plumber
    include, but are not Electrician
    limited to: Food Service Workers
                                 Entrepreneurs
                                 Construction
                                 Building Maintenance
These jobs are all worthwhile, socially-
 necessary careers.

However, if you would like to get a job that
requires a degree, then academic probation
and disqualification is not an option.
A professional is someone who has skills that are
not easily learned, and even less easily replaced.

It is someone who combines practical skills with
  theoretical knowledge about their career.

Professionals are valued in almost every sector
of the economy, and tend to have better hours,
better pay, and better job security than their
  non-professional counterparts.
   Examples of Computer
    professionals include: Programmers
                              Graphic Designers
                              Teachers and
                               Professors
                              Researchers
                              Doctors, Surgeons, and
                               Consultants
                              Lawyers
                              Advertisers and Editors
