  • #6: The Brunei LNG plant is built near the sea shore. The prevailing winds blow the water clouds of the cooling towers over part of the plant.
  • #11: The surface preparation was only light wire brush and rubbing with Scotchbrite pad. Outer wrap was applied as shown.
  • #12: Local staff visited the demo site after 5 years. Some over-painting had been done. The original old coating is on the left.
  • #13: The Stopaq was cut open and inspected. Left the Stopaq as opened, Middle the Stopaq after scraping, right the old tar coating.
  • #14: This is a sample of conventional coating of about 5 years old.
