This document evaluates a visco-elastic subsea anti-corrosion system developed by Sander Hofstee. It has been applied in projects in Peru, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and Rotterdam. The system offers cost effectiveness, maximized return on investment, durability without need for maintenance, wide applicability, easy and fast application, and no environmental impact. It can be applied to complex shapes and limited access areas. The system provides perfect and instant adhesion, flexibility, durability, and ability to conform to any shape. An example application to protect a 16-inch jetty pile was completed in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
