ACCOMPLISHMENTS CONTROL FORM
Manuel Ignacio Sánchez López
The VTP Group, established in 1993 in Ålborg, is the parent company of a comprehensive network of international businesses, with interests
in Denmark, Spain and Croatia.
VTP Property España based in southern Spain, (subsidiary of VTP Holding DK) was created to cater to a niche market for luxury homes,
supplying products of exceptionally high quality and specifications. All Spanish activity is managed by VTP Property España and this company
also provides financial and administrative services for the rest of the group.
Expansion of Livingstone Estates, in Spain and
internationally.
Companies were created in Denmark, UK and
Bulgaria, and offices were opened in Costa
Blanca (3), Costa del Sol (2) and Almería.
Also, collaboration agreements with freelance
agents were signed for outsourcing sales in
Turkey and Croatia.
Apart from consolidating the figures for VTP
Group, I dessigned an analytical control system
for analyzing the results of every country / area
/ manager / sales person, to detect where we
were losing money, providing also advice on
how to solve the problems.
My regular tasks consist on Financial
Reporting, Accounting (Consolidated
Financial Statements), Fiscal (tax declarations),
Budgeting and Forecasting, HR (payroll,
wages), Administration, Accounts payable and
receivable, etc.
Adapting the Finance Department to the
circumstances at every stage of the evolution of
the business.
We succesfully sorted-out several Fiscal
Inspections, Social Security requirements, Tax
notifications, Court Cases, litigation processes,
dealing with the Inspectors and Judges, getting
finally a favorable outcome for the company.
Corporate re-structuration for adapting the
company to changes in the real estate business
in Costa del Sol.
Downsizing the Group from the big structure
of the "boom" years (8 companies and more
than 100 employees) to the times of recession
required a huge effort.
We undertook operations such as Mergers of
companies, transmission of economic
activities, liquidations, etc.
Insourcing part of the services formerly
outsourced to external consultants.
In order to save costs for the company, I added
to my duties some works which were previously
assigned to our legal, fiscal and labour
advisors.
For instance, I took over the preparation of
payroll (wage slips, commissions and variable
retribution, travel allowances, etc.); contracts
with "autónomos" and suppliers; contracts for
sales and rentals of properties; supervision of
maintenance; etc.
Managing relationships with partners

clients), and with Public Administration (Tax
