1. ESL students can get to know their classmates better by talking about what they like to do. Likes and dislikes say a lot about a person. Most English as a Second Language books have lessons similar to the one in this PowerPoint presentation. Be sure to teach the proper pronoun. For example: He likes to ¡­ - OR- She likes to¡­ If your students are Beginning High level, you can also give a lesson about adding the letter ¡°S¡± to the word ¡°like¡±.
