equipment. Founded in 2008, we have continued to grow our product line as
well as our service capabilities.We are actively looking to expand our operations
team into our brand new location in Whitecourt, AB opening fall 2014,with the
following positions:
TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Brogan Safety Supplies is looking for an Outside Sales Representative based out of the Whitecourt,
AB branch. (Opening Fall 2014).
You will be responsible for the development of new and existing accounts, implementation of
tactical plans, sales performance, gross margins, market share growth, profitability and value
added cost savings programs.
Duties include:
• Represent Brogan Safety in a positive manner at all times to customers and prospects.
• Identify customer’s needs including: accurate selection of products, pricing, promotions and
systems to meet those needs.
• Promote all product and services offered by Brogan Safety
• Introduce new products and demonstrate features and uses
• Make joint calls our manufacturer’s representatives, or internal managers, to introduce new
lines or demonstrate effectiveness of existing products and services.
• Attend sales meetings, branch meetings, industry shows, or customer events as required
We are looking for sales professionals with customer service experience within an industrial or
safety distribution environment. The idea candidate will have experience in various aspects of
safety related equipment such as fire extinguishers, SCBA, gas detection equipment and personal
protective equipment;
A proven background in building solid relationships, an ability to interact with people at all levels
and a pre-disposition to teamwork and excellent customer service is required.
You will have solid product knowledge, strong computer skills and the ability to manage multiple
projects effectively (out of town travel and some overnight trips may be required).

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
As a member of the sales team, you will be responsible for customer inquiries, quotes and orders
in a timely professional manner for customers as well as the outside sales representatives.
You will be the first point of contact with customers coming to the retail store front and will deal
with customers in a prompt, timely and professional manner.
You will assist in the re-stocking of shelves, cleaning/tidying of the front sales area and general
presentation of the retail showroom.
The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales--preferably selling safety or industrial
related equipment. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are mandatory as well as
superior telephone etiquette. Computer skills are also a MUST.
SAFETY SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Brogan Safety Supplies requires a technician to service and certify fire extinguishers, breathing
apparatus, gas detection equipment, and other related safety equipment at our new facility in Whitecourt,
AB (set to open Fall 2014).
Preference will be given to candidates with experience or certification in such, however training will be
provided to the right individual possessing a great attitude and strong work ethic.
BRANCH MANAGER – WHITECOURT, ALBERTA
Working closely with the President and Operations manager at head office, the branch manager
will assume responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases sales,
profitability, market share, and customer and employee satisfaction by directing, coordinating and
monitoring all sales, branch operation and personnel development activities.
Job Duties:
• Direct all operational aspects of the branch to include distribution operations, customer service, human
resources, administration and sales in a manner that supports reaching the branch goals.
• Ensure that all areas of work performance or departments are properly staffed and directed
• Take on the responsibility for the orientation of all new employees
• Take on the responsibility for evaluation of all employees not supervised by the service manager
• Recommend desirable changes in the policies and goals of the branch and the organization
• Communicate effectively with other branches and senior managers by sharing information on effective
practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
• Cooperate fully with the Credit Department in extending and enforcing credit policy
• Ensure the safekeeping of company assets, including structures, equipment, inventory and cash
• Maintain and enforce personnel policy
• Evaluate regularly the effectiveness of the branch operation, to see that policies are being observed
and that goals are being attained
• Participate actively in community, business and industry organizations to build a network of contacts
that improve the presence and reputation of Brogan Safety in the local area

The ideal candidate will have experience in some aspects of safety and related equipment. Selling and/
or servicing of Gas detection equipment, Fire Extinguishers, Breathing air equipment and/or Personal
Protection Equipment is an asset, however the right candidate will be trained.
