All About Adopt-A-Wreath By: Richard, Zach, Walt and Thomas
How did we decide on our product? We knew that the holidays were near, so we came up with some holiday products Holiday bookmarks, wreaths, or pens, were the choices We decided on wreaths because they had the holiday spirit
How did we decide what to do with the profits? We thought about donating it to charities, a pet shelter, or to beautify the Leitha Thompson and Rocky Creek area We decided on the Rocky Creek area because the area was a bit messy and untidy.
How did we market our product? We made a commercial and put it into the mustang news. We also made an ad into the monthly newsletter.
How did we make our product? We cut fabric into 3x3 in. squares. Next we stabbed it into 14 inch wreaths.
What things were easier than they thought they would be? We thought that the wreath making process was much easier than we thought it would be.
What things were harder than we expected? The hardest part of the wreath business was actually cutting the fabric. Our fingers were sore and painful after cutting with the mingy scissors.
What would we do if there was a next time? Next time we would not have done a raffle. Next time we would have advertised more than we actually did.
