FOREWORDS
The whole NPC2015 concept is based on the U Theory by Otto
Scharmer.
There is a blind spot in leadership theory, in the social sciences as well
as in our everyday social experience. This blind spot concerns the inner
place from which an actionwhat we dooriginates. In the process of
conducting our daily business and social lives, we are usually well aware
of what we do and what others do; we also have some understanding of
the process: how we do things, the processes we and others use when we
act. And yet there is a blind spot. If we were to ask the question,
Where does our action come from? most of us would be unable
to provide an answer. The blind spot concerns the (inner) source from
which we operate when we do what we dothe quality of attention that
we use to relate to and bring forth the world.
Scharmer identified seven archetypal field structures of attention
seven gestures linking self and world that map the territory of the blind
spot:
1. Downloading: projecting habits of thought.
2. Seeing: precise observation from outside.
3. Sensing: perception from within the field/whole.
4. Presencing: perception from the source/highest future
possibility.
5. Crystallizing vision and intent (seeing/acting from the future
field.)
6. Prototyping living examples and microcosms (in dialogue
with emerging environments.)
7. Institutionalizing the new in practices, routines, and
infrastructures.
The U-process of presencing also involves three different movements of
awareness, or stages:
1. Co-Sensing: opening up to the world outside: becoming one
with the world,
2. Co-Inspiring: opening up to a world within: becoming one
with ones deepest source of future possibility, and
3. Co-Creating: bringing the emerging future into being.
As we travel together the journey of NPC2015, we will be passing
through all the fields structures of attention and the three movements in
order to better understand the place from AIESEC in India has been
operating and redefine the way we do things from the core. With this in
mind we aim to plan ahead the year 2016.
We are extremely enthusiastic about what NPC2015 promises to be,
and even more about what the output and outcome of the conference
could be.
Yours,
rangCM

STAGE I: CO-SENSING
WELCOME TO THE U
Welcoming session to NPC2015 were we will introduce the U-
Theory process as well as the journey we will be passing through
together. An awesome get to know who we are activity will be
also part of the welcoming session.
DOWNLOADING PATTERNS FROM THE PAST
We will be reviewing the last 10 years of AIESEC in India. For
that purpose we will dip deep into the MC plans and reports of
the last 10 years in order to answer the question What has
been done? and learn from our failures and successes. The
idea is to identify enabling and hindering patterns of behavior in
our organization.
SUSPENDING PARADIGMS
Dey will be taking us through a journey of introspection about
the way we usually operate and engage with the world, and how
can we break the pattern of unawareness in order to open a
whole new horizon of possibilities as individuals and as leaders.
SEEING WITH FRESH EYES
In order to answer the question What have we learned?,
we will embark into a process of identifying the facts that came
up out of our historical review and mapping the evolving picture
of AIESEC in India allowing us to see with fresh eyes where we
are and the reasons that have contributed to our current ways of
being as organization with the help of our external guests.
REDIRECTING ATTENTION
This time, Dey will take us through a social experiment that will put
into consideration the way we focus our attention and how that
affects the way we lead and manage our entities, our teams and our
activities. The idea is to evolve the way you as an individual embody
the role of the leader and the role of the manager in harmony with
your own Self and mapping out individual steps to move ahead into a
more productive manner of copying with the responsibilities of your
job role.
SENSING FROM THE FIELD:
This session aims to answer the question What is needed? from
the perspective of the different stakeholders we interact with. The
presence of Trainees, EPs, TN Takers, and other partners is crucial to
get face to face real data on their expectations and perceptions. We
will also be having random interviews with LC members via phone
calls. Many times we get caught up on our own realities and roles and
we forget that the core of the experience is not only for the Global
Leader Program at EB and MC level, instead we want to focus on
smart auditing all our programs to gather the perception of our
different customers to map a more accurate picture of our current
capacity to deliver in our promise.

STAGE II: CO-INSPIRING
LETTING GO OF THE KNOWN
This will be a cleansing session. Carefully crafted by our LEAD
Partner Dey Dos, the session aim to give us the space to let go of
what we dont need, both as individuals and as leaders of our
organization in order to move ahead in the process with a clean
slate and leaving behind any unnecessary baggage.
PRESENCING BY CONNECTING TO SOURCE:
In this session each one of us, including the MC, will take a
wonderful journey to stillness looking forward to emerge with a
clear mind, a humbled heart and a determined will.
The introspective character of this session will require of your
ability to stay in silence and observe. Its crucial that you bring a
digital camera with you and an MP3 with instrumental music.
Your mobile phone camera and music player will work as well.
Make sure you download some instrumental music that inspires
you, we will have a selection of music available for you, but it will
be more personal if you bring your own play list. Hey! You can
also share your playlist with other delegates previous to the
session.
Towards the end of the session we will be hosting some open
circles to expand our awareness of what has happened to us so
far and share truthfully who we are in the process of becoming.
LETTING COME THE NEW:
Dey once again will be hosting a space for us. This time the character
of the space will be more hands on; this meaning pragmatism and
practicality at its best.
Get ready for some awesome insights into the world of transforming
intention into results through well designed and well executed action.

STAGE III: CO-CREATING
CRYSTALLIZING AMBITION AND INTENTION
Emerging from the Stage of Co-Inspiring, we will start climbing
up the U by Co-Creating our future together in two phases.
In the first block well be taking the first steps into
crystallizing refreshed visions and intentions for our
organization by dreamlining what the future could be for us
when we take a look at it with a very down to earth approach
while still dreaming up high with ambition. This stage is very
divergent and the idea is to gather as many input as possible.
In the second block we will enter into a convergent phase,
finding patterns and creating clusters that will then lead us to a
final input to enact the vision of the organization we want to
see by the end of 2016.
ENACTING THE AMBITION
A very modern approach to consolidation will be implemented
in this session as we aim to consolidate what we have agreed
upon so far with the purpose of enacting a clear, simple,
compelling and youthful ambition for AIESEC in India by the end
of 2016.
PROTOTYPING THE NEW SCENARIOS
Derived from all previous sessions, we will be mapping out how
AIESEC in India will be looking like by the end of 2016 very
specifically in all our programs and using the Causal Model of
Organizational Performance as our guiding conversational tool.
EMBODYING THE NEW SYSTEM
In this final session by Dey, he will be hosting us in a journey of
embodiment by collectively answering the following questions: What
does it mean to embody? How do we embody new habits? How can we
as organization embody what we have come up together with?
MAPPING THE ROAD OF PERFORMANCE
This session aim to close the planning process by allocating
responsibilities, making commitments and road-mapping 2016
milestone by milestone. By the end of this session we should have
very clear deliverables and accountability measures to ensure we
fulfill the ambition and the intention that have been set.
LEAVING THE U
Closing this amazing journey we will say good bye to what was and
say hi to what is yet to come. A space designed to fulfill our here and
now needs as individuals and as leaders of AIESEC as well as to
ensuring there is a clear and common agreed upon message to share
with the rest of the network about what happened in this conference
and what the way forward is.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS
As you can see in the agenda, we will not be having morning plenaries,
evening plenaries or traditional opening/closing plenaries. We will not
be having a Chair either for the conference. Your MCP will act as the
host of the space in order to keep the process running smooth and
focused.
Each break is of one hour instead of 30 minutes and each breakfast has
been moved down, we want to give you enough time to relax and rest.
We want to have your undivided attention to the process since we
consider this conferences output/outcome crucial for the future of
AIESEC in India.
We will keep the agenda on time, we need you to also commit to be on
time, however we will not wait for anyone to start the process every day
and at every session.
We will be having some external guests being part of the process
(international trainees, Indian EPs that were never AIESECers, TN takers
from different sectors and fields, and leaders from other young
organizations. Our LEAD partner Dey will be joining us as well for the
duration of the whole conference) your behavior at this conference
needs to be at the top of manifesting each one of the six AIESEC values.
We expect that as LCP (current or elect) you stay true to the philosophy
of the organization and become a role model of what we believe in as
organization.
After agenda finishes every day, we will be having extremely cool chill
out nights with drinks, music and games. Do not expect heavy parties,
this conference is design to provide a wonderful environment of intimacy
and connection, we would love if you embrace the process and sit with
us, chill, have a couple of drinks and share your story. At the end, we
want to truly get to know each other and use this conference for that.
In order to better prepare for the conference, please read the attached
files. They present summaries of the U-Process and will give you a
better idea of the underlying structure on top of which the agenda has
been designed. In any case we will be giving you clarifications at every
stage of the process to ensure the flow is as comfortable as possible in
such a new environment for all of us.
Quoting Otto Scharmer, The essence of 21st-century leadership is about
shifting the fields of collective attention and intention. The leaders work in
our age is to shift the fields of attention from egosystem awareness to
ecosystem awareness. We attend this way, therefore it emerges
that way.
We truly want to see the leaders of AIESEC in India at this conference
attending with everything they have to offer, so that what emerges as
part of our 5 days together comes from a place of belonging and care
for what we stand for as individuals and collectively as organization.
Looking forward to elevate all together the way in which we make
impact in AIESEC in India.
Yours,
rangCM
