We are excited to welcome you to the
5th Alumni conference in Croatia!
Join us to celebrate five continuous years of Alumni activity in Croatia
Venue:
? 4-star hotel Trakoscan in the vicinity of the medieval castle in north
Croatia
? 1h drive from Zagreb, 3 hs drive from Vienna and 3.5hs drive from
Budapest
? Hotel has pool, sauna and jacuzzi facilities, along with the sport areas.
? Nearby study tour options include: Trakoscan Castle, trekking to Ravna
Gora and contemporary Krapina Neanderthal Museum
? Party room will be in a private quarters, outside of the hotel (5 min walk)
? This venue is a well-known location to Croatian Alumni from 1996-2005 -
we are looking forward to see the renewed venue!
Agenda:
? Personal skills development focused agenda.
? All sessions are in English.
? Parallel Kids agenda is available (in Croatian only)
? All speakers and panelists have been carefully selected
based on the recommendations and their work
experiences.
? Dinner is of an informal character (dress code is
conveniently described as ¡°Formal Trackpants¡± ?)
Kids¡¯ Agenda:
Kids¡¯ agenda has been imagined to be a parallel agenda to the Alumni conference to enable attendance
of the family members. Accompanying kids are welcome with a discounted accommodation rate and
access to the hotel facilities like pool and children¡¯s playroom.
Our Alumnus Hrvoje, who professionally leads animation workshops for children, is in charge for the
kids¡¯ agenda. Everything is set for a wonderful family weekend in Trakoscan!

? ¡°What have we learned?¡± ¨C presentation by children to the rest of the C2I participants.

Africa, Latin America and Europe. She is a
passionate marathon runner and cyclist with
25 years of international sales experience.
Bojan Stankovic
Office Manager at Work&Travel Group
Our young Alumnus is preparing for a travel across
Asia, all the way to China to explore the topic of
youth leadership

Panel discussion ¡°How to stay (motivated) in Croatia?¡± will address the issues of country¡¯s brain drain and what factors are important to stay happy
and successful within the country.
Valentina Djurek
Vice Mayor of Zabok
Earned her professor title while studying in Croatia,
Colombia and US, school teacher and a local
community leader.
Nikolina Vuckovic
Film&TV Producer and Entrepreneur
Nikolina is also an environmental activist and has
been awarded by AIESEC Alumni Europe for her
efforts in protecting Cetina river.

AIESEC Alumni community in Croatia:
Structured activities started in Oct 2015, inspired by the Porto international Alumni conference. Community counts about 200 active
Alumni attending Alumi Talks in Zagreb (20 done till date!), Connect to Impact conference and informal forums like Alumni kindergarten,
Zagreb Christmas market visit and sport activities. Signature Event organized by this community was 65th anniversary of AIESEC in
Croatia.
AIESEC Alumni community in Croatia:
The Board currently consists of 3 members (Ana Jovicic, Goran Bobanovic and Katarina Karalic) and the community operates without a
formalized legal entity. All activities are organized by the task force teams who are engaged by the Board on a project-basis principle.
Communication channel towards 500+ Alumni utilizes quarterly newsletters, FB and LinkedIN groups (and, of course, word of mouth).
Croatian Alumni cooperate closely with the student AIESEC and are engaged in training and coaching sessions for MC and LCs. On ERAC
2019, the Croatian community was recognized with the ¡®Biggest Growth¡¯ Award by the AIESEC Alumni Europe.
