What is air?
Air is The invisible gaseous substance surrounding the earth, a mixture
mainly of oxygen and nitrogen.
Air is made up of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor.

What is air pollution?
Air pollution is the harmful material into the atmosphere, causing
damage to living organism and to the environment.
Air pollution occurs when gases, dust particles, fumes or smoke are
introduced into the atmosphere.
In a way that makes it harmful for humans , animals, and plants.

What is thermal power plant?
A thermal power plant is usually defined by the type of fuel used to
heat the water and create steam.
A fossil-fuel power plant is one that burns fossil fuels such as coal,
natural gas or petroleum (oil) to produce electricity.
Fossil-fuel power plants are designed on a large scale for continuous
operation.

Air pollution and global warming
carbon dioxide, a common part of the burning coal.
Nitrogen oxides come from burning gas, coal, or other fossil fuels.
Sulfur Dioxide pollution comes mainly from the burning of coal or oil
in power plants or factories.
Around the coal based power plants the ambient concentrations of
Sulphur dioxide of nitrogen and spm are high.
The high amount of carbon dioxide emission from thermal power
plants contribute to global warming leading to climate change
significantly.
