A 64-year-old male presented with low back pain for 1 year without radiating pain, numbness, or neurogenic claudication. On examination, he had tenderness over the right L4-L5 facet joint but normal strength, tone, and reflexes. A bone scan showed osteoblastic activity in the right L4-L5 facet joint consistent with facet arthritis.

• Clinical features- • 64 yr old male , came with • C/o low backache for 1 years, • No h/o pain radiating • No h/o paraesthesia • No h/o neurogenic claudication
• On Examination- • Local tenderness –present both side L4-L5 facet joint • Faber test – absent • SLRT- absent • Bulk –normal • Tone –normal • No deficits
• BONE SCAN- 1) Evidence of osteoblastically active right facet arthrtis involving l4/l5 vertebrae 2) evidence of osteoblastically active end plate denegenrative changes in the lumbar vertebrae and arthritic changes as described above.
